In the story Yellow Star by Jennifer Roy, in the book  there is a little girl named Sliva and the Nazis are coming to get them because they want to move and separate them from their families. Silvia  and her dad have to hide in the graveyard  hole because the Nazis are going into an apartment building and taking kids from their parents and if the parents try protecting their kids or pull them away they get killed. and her mom and her sister stay back in the apartment. They made a plan that if the window has a white sheet over it then It’s not safe to come back but if it is then they are able to sneak back in without the Nazis seeing. 

This book reminds me of Masterminds or Cue because they’re both really intense and they both are mysteries. I think you should read Yellow Star because it is about a girl our age and you can really realize and see how different it was during World War II and what it was like for a girl our age to have to survive.
